Reviews are one of the most powerful credibility signals on your site. They appear on your dedicated Reviews page, on the Home page, and on individual Service pages. You manage all of them from one place in the CMS.

Where reviews live on your site

  • /reviews — a full grid of all your published reviews
  • Home page — a curated section showing a selection of reviews
  • Service pages — reviews linked to a specific service appear on that service’s page
  • /reviews/[client-name] — a long-form case study page for standout reviews (optional)

Field guide

FieldRequiredWhat to enter
Client nameYesThe client’s real first and last name. This becomes the URL for their review page.
Job titleNoTheir role or occupation — e.g. “Retired teacher” or “Small business owner”. Not their job at your firm.
LocationNoCity and state in “City, ST” format — e.g. “Austin, TX”. Geographic detail makes reviews feel real.
Review textNoThe short quote shown on cards. Keep it to 1–3 sentences.
Extended case studyNoA longer narrative for standout reviews. When filled in, the client gets a dedicated page at /reviews/[their-name].
RatingNoA number from 1–5. Most reviews will be 5.
DateNoWhen the review was given. Can be left empty.
DisclaimerNoCompliance text shown in small grey text on the review card. Always fill this in.
ImageNoA photo of the client. Optional — plan ahead if your client wants photos on review cards.
ServiceNoLink this review to a specific service. If linked, it will appear on that service’s page.
The Disclaimer field is technically optional in the CMS, but you should always fill it in for compliance. Standard text is: “Client, unpaid testimonial” — check with your compliance officer for your firm’s approved language.

Importing from Google reviews

If you have Google Business Profile reviews, you can add them manually:
  1. Open your Google Business Profile reviews
  2. Copy the review text, reviewer name, and location
  3. Paste into the corresponding CMS fields
  4. Add the disclaimer field — Google reviews still need compliance language on your site

Adding a long-form case study

For your 3–6 strongest reviews, consider writing a longer narrative in the Extended case study field. This creates a full page at /reviews/[client-name] that you can share with prospects. A good case study covers:
  • The client’s situation before working with you
  • What you helped them achieve
  • A specific outcome or result (where compliant to share)
  • A quote from the client
Check with your compliance officer before publishing specific financial outcomes or results in case studies. Use language like “Individual results vary” and populate the disclaimer field accordingly.

Editing an existing review

  1. Go to CMS → Reviews
  2. Click the review you want to edit
  3. Make your changes
  4. Click Save & publish

Removing a review

Click the review in the CMS, then click the three dots menu at the top right and select Archive or Delete. Archiving removes it from the site but keeps it in your CMS. Deleting removes it permanently.
