What a team member entry creates
- A card with photo, name, and title in the “Meet the team” section on your About page
- A dedicated bio page at
/team/[their-name]with their full biography, credentials, contact details, and social links - An author byline on any articles they publish
Adding a new team member
Collect their information first
Before opening the CMS, gather everything listed in the field guide below. Having it ready makes the process much faster.
Collect two photos
You need two versions of their headshot:
- A portrait photo (tall, at least 800px wide) for their bio page
- A square headshot (1:1 ratio, at least 400×400px) for the About page grid
Field guide

Important: both photos are required
If you only upload one photo, parts of your site will show a placeholder:- Missing portrait photo → their bio page hero shows a grey placeholder
- Missing square photo → their card on the About page shows a grey placeholder
Editing an existing team member
- Go to CMS → Team members
- Click the person’s name
- Make your changes
- Click Save & publish
Removing a team member
If someone leaves the firm:- Archive (don’t delete) their CMS entry — this removes them from the site without breaking article links
- Reassign authorship on any articles they wrote before archiving
